"Yeah yeah...I've heard it all before. I can get massive muscles & toned abs in less than 10 minutes per day. Blah blah blah!"

That was my initial reaction to the "7 Minute Muscle System", and I'll be honest with you: the only reason I even bought this program was because I had read a lot about Jon Benson, and respected his opinion. I wanted to find out what he was having his clients & customers do in these 7 "magic" minutes.

Well, similar to "Turbulence Training" (but based more on toning and building muscle than burning fat), Jon's routine is setup to do extremely high-intensity exercises in short bursts. He outlines the system in an ebook, and provides step-by-step videos for each muscle group you'll want to work with.

I bought 9 of the top muscle building programs online with the intention of doing just that: building muscle! However, I bought this workout system about 2 months into my life-changing decision to get the body I wanted.

Well, I have to say: Jon made a solid package of unique information and helpful videos to tie in with an existing workout routine. BUT...

...Here's the deal: I would not recommend buying this program ALONE, unless you're busy and can't spend much time in the gym.

However, I incorporated this system into my existing workout routine, and the techniques I learned helped to increase the intensity of my workouts, keep my heart rate up while lifting weights, and boosted my results really fast!

P.S. - Jon Benson is another fitness pro, and he offers some helpful free info in his email course, too. I signed up for the free course, and that's why I ended up buying the system. He sends some cool stuff to his subscribers, so I suggest signing up...

7 Minute Muscle Pros:

These are some of the coolest parts of 7 Minute Muscle:

  • T.I.M.E. - The quickest workout (that works) you will ever find. Period.
  • Easy to incorporate into an existing routine
  • Very concentrated workouts (by body part, but all workouts are compound)
  • Easy-to-follow videos explaining each exercise

Overall, the 7 Minute Muscle System is fantastic, but it's not perfect...

7 Minute Muscle Cons:

This is not quite what I expected to be honest. A lot of the ebook didn't have anything new to me. The key is to use really tough, short bursts in your workouts, which I had already heard about from "Turbulence Training". Jon just tweaked this style from interval training for fat loss, to healthy quick lifting for muscle gain.

Also, I wanted to focus on muscle gain, you know, to get arms like Jon's. But, some of the videos were made with women in mind, too. Now don't get me wrong, that's not a bad thing, and I definitely didn't mind watching "Laura" doing these workouts (wow!), but I'm a dude...I don't care about butt & thigh exercises. LOL

That said, if you're a female, this product might be one of the best to get if you want to be more toned, or don't have much time to workout. Check out my Turbulence Training review if you're in this boat, too, because either would be a great fit for you.

In the end, I'm glad I was able to tie the 7 Minute Muscle workouts into my routine.

I purchased the "7 Minute Muscle" program about a month or two after I started using Vince DelMonte's "No Nonsense Muscle". I had already started a solid routine, but I wanted to find out what Jon was offering in this 7 minute system.

Well, I'll be honest with you: I didn't end up using the exact routine I learned about from this system. However, I was able to add to my routine and boost my results by doing a couple of the key high-intensity exercises Jon teaches in these videos.

Also, I like the fact that the videos were straightforward, but I feel like I already knew some of the stuff they talked about since I had already read about it in "Muscle Gain Truth" and "No Nonsense Muscle Building".

When I was on 7MinuteMuscle.com, I was skeptical becuase of the whole 7 minutes thing, but positive feedback like this helped me take action and give it a try:

Conclusion

All in all, I'd say my results with this program were good. I was able to add a couple quick exercises to my routine that helped a LOT with particular muscle groups, and on days that I don't have time to do a full workout, I just do the routine Jon teaches in this system, which is nice.

TIP: If you are busy, or just want to add some 'cardio' aspect to your routine, I would recommend getting this system. Also, if you're looking to get amazing abs, Jon must have worked out a deal with Mike Geary, because you can get his book "Truth About Abs" for only $19.95 along with the "7 Minute Muscle System"! (I honestly liked that ebook just as much as the package itself, so I'd say it's worth the upgrade.)
