4 Crucial Steps to Get Ripped...
So you want to get ripped, right? Well, how bad would it suck to get in shape now, then lose it in a couple years? Pretty bad, huh? Well, don't let that happen to you!
There are tons of ways to get ripped fast, but they almost never last, so don't even bother.
What makes this worse is that the supplement companies and fitness magazines make so much money from pushing nearly-illegal drugs and incomplete workout routines on you, that they will never stop!
The key is to see through all the trash, and stick to the fundamentals.
Now that we have that out of the way, it's important to say that it's going to be tough at first. There just isn't a quick way to look the way you want that won't harm your health in the end, meaning you're going to have to put in some work to get the body you want. (Thankfully, that's not going to be as hard for you as it is for most...More on that in a minute.)
That said, getting ripped can be a LOT easier than most people make it, so let's get started:
- Know where you're starting: Your current fitness level
- Decide where you want to end up: Your fitness goals (how ripped do you want to be?)
- Figure out how you're gonna get there: Find a killer workout & nutrition routine to follow!
- Take action: Follow the workout routine & meal plan
I know I know...you're probably thinking: "Duh! That's how to get anything you want! I want to know the specifics of how to get ripped!"
Sweet, then let's break it down:
1) The first step to getting ripped (without harmful drugs or expensive supplements) is to evaluate your current situation.
For a long time, I was used to looking good with my shirt on, but every morning I would see myself with my shirt off and be disgusted. It wasn't that I was all that fat, or too skinny, I just knew I didn't look as good as I could. I wanted that perfect, ripped beach body really bad, but being able to stay mediocre with such little effort made it tough for me to take action.
Being able to honestly say that I didn't like the situation was very important for me, so I highly recommend taking a minute to let the shape you're in right now sink in.
2) Alright, this is the easy part: decide what your fitness goals are. You know, like "I want to be at 12% body fat, have a toned stomach and ripped arms & chest." You have to know where you're going if you want to get there, so set a goal (or multiple goals), that get you pumped up (and be sure to include a timeframe or target date to achieve your goal).
3) This is the part that way too many people get stuck: finding a workout routine and nutrition plan that works for them. Unfortunately, far too many people think that it's alright to just spend an hour or two downloading free routines online, and combining them together to do the workouts they're already good at.
Whatever you decide on, do NOT use free routines online!
I found dozens of them, but they're free for a reason...they're usually thrown together with parts missing or by an amateur that has been using the routine for a couple weeks. (There are exceptions, but it's really tough to tell the difference.)
People wouldn't pay personal trainers $12-$80+ per hour if it was really as easy as printing off some random routines online. Speaking of that, is shelling out a bunch of cash the only way to get ripped?
No way! In fact, I don't even pay for a gym membership, let alone a personal trainer, and I've been gradually getting more and more ripped for the last 2 years! My secret? A complete muscle building program created by a professional natural bodybuilder called "Muscle Gain Truth":
Muscle Gain Truth is not just a workout routine, or even just a meal plan. In fact, this package has more than I ever learned from spending countless hours researching online AND all that my sports coaches taught me about building muscle...combined.
Sean, the author, is a natural bodybuilder that decided to create a course with everything anyone, beginner through advanced, would need to get ripped and stay ripped naturally.
The whole program is accessed instantly online, so there's no waiting for shipping, and it's less than most dudes pay for one month of a gym membership, protein powder and extra food to "bulk up".
Here's some of the stuff Muscle Gain Truth comes with:
- "The Truth About Muscle" 229-page ebook (in PDF format)
- 26-week detailed, printable workout plans for different body types & goals
- Exercise tutorial video database (You'll never have bad form again!)
- Awesome meal plans (2,000-6,000 calories/day) w/ printable grocery lists!
- Videos on form, technique & building specific muscle groups
- iTrain Harder 3-month membership (Track improvement online)
- The "Personal Trainer" FAQ database (Why pay extra to ask a trainer questions?)
- "Top 12 Bodybuilding Mistakes Revealed" audio (MP3) course
- Personalized workout plans (injuries, soreness, time, etc.)
- Bonus guides (Creatine Report, 50 Keys to a Bigger Bench...)
- "School of Muscle" Membership
- 7 bonus workout plans from fitness pros to choose from
- Daily Nutritional Organizer & reference guide
- Massive list of healthy muscle gain recipes
- Nutrient-packed smoothie recipes
- Supplement reviews (Protein, BCAA, Creatine, Glutamine...)
- Muscle Building podcast
- Expert articles
- Bonus Printable workout logbook
- Printable progress tracker
Yep, it's ridiculous how much comes with this program, which is why I like it the most out of the 9 I paid for. I still listen to some of the MP3 audio tracks on my iPod while I workout, and I like to go back and brush up on the specifics in the reports every now and then, too.

Anyway, the 3rd step to getting ripped is to find a killer routine & meal plan that you can follow, right? I've got you covered. I spent weeks researching dozens of programs online, and I spent $544.80 on 9 of them, but the Muscle Gain Truth is the best one by far!
Muscle Gain Truth Cons:
Though it's my favorite program overall, nothing is perfect, right? I didn't like that Muscle Gain Truth wasn't made to help you burn fat before packing on some muscle. (This won't matter if you're not trying to lose fat too, but if so you might have to do what I did and add some cardio on the off-days.)
One little thing I didn't like were that the online progress tracker is only free for 3 months, then $4.95/month after. Since I bought it, Sean has added a pretty sweet progress tracker you can print out with the School of Muscle bonus package, so I guess that doesn't matter as much anymore.
Also, I hate that all of these certified trainers and professional bodybuilders have to be so damn hyped-up on their websites! It drives me nuts, but most of them are making a living by selling their massive programs, so I guess they feel like they have to do it like that. Either way, I'm glad I saw through that crap and gave this program a shot, because it's seriously worth every penny.

4) Now that you've found a great program to follow, the key is to put it into action. It definitely helps that Muscle Gain Truth has progress trackers, printable routines, meal plans with grocery lists, but you still have to use them all.
Get Muscle Gain Truth, read through the material, print off the routine, and follow it. Yes, it'll be freaking hard sometimes, but you'll get results like you wouldn't believe, and you won't have to depend solely on your own motivation because you'll have awesome routines to guide your way.
My entire life is better now that I finally made the decision to take action, invest in a solid program, and follow it for over a year. This is the longest I've ever stuck to a routine, and I'm so happy looking & feeling better than ever. I strongly encourage you to take action, too.
